Boutique Hotel Room Signage

The Challenge

Nusa Heritage Hotels operates boutique properties that blend modern luxury with Malaysian heritage design. They needed room signage that complemented their unique aesthetic — not generic hotel plates. Each property had a different design theme (tropical, colonial, contemporary), requiring three distinct signage collections for 180 rooms total, plus pool, spa, and restaurant signage.

Our Solution

We created three bespoke signage collections using layered acrylic techniques. Each collection featured dual-tone acrylic with gold or copper accents, laser-engraved room numbers in a custom typeface, and backlit DND/housekeeping indicators. Amenity signs combined frosted acrylic with UV-printed heritage motifs unique to each property. All signs were waterproof-rated for tropical environments.
